Our VisionThe Pillager Education Foundation exists to provide and enhance student excellence in acadmics, arts, athletics, and activities. This is done through fundraising efforts designed to support:
our missionThe Pillager Education Foundation focus is our school community. The board is composed of members who are Pillager alumni, current parents, and staff members of Pillager Public School. The board members consist of individuals that care about students and staff as well as the legacy of education. Since 2012, the Foundation has raised over $450,000 of which $76,625 has been awarded to staff for innovative classroom grants and over $230,000 has been awarded for student scholarships even as we continue to build the endowment fund.
Once a year, the Pillager Education Foundation hosts its annual “Evening for Education” consisting of a dinner and musical. This is the largest fundraising event of the year that focuses on the mission to raise funds on behalf of the Pillager Education Foundation, a partner fund of the Initiative Foundation, which provides innovative classroom grants as well as student scholarships to enhance student excellence in academics, arts, athletics and activities at Pillager Public School. The Pillager Education Foundation partnered with the Initiative Foundation in Little Falls, MN to build our component fund into a legacy of support for education in the Pillager community.
